What Your Support Funds
Every donation to UnaMentis supports the open source project directly. Here's what it costs to keep the platform running and available to beta users.
Beta Hosting Infrastructure
GPU-accelerated servers running LLM and TTS inference so beta users can experience the full platform without needing their own API keys. This is the largest single cost, running approximately €370-600/month depending on the number of users.
Development and Staging
A separate environment for testing new features and provider integrations before they reach production, using spot instances for cost efficiency (~€130/month).
Support Services
Email, feedback collection, and user communications infrastructure (~€22/month).
Operational Costs
Domain registration, monitoring, development tooling, and API testing across providers (~€40/month).
Cost controls are built into the platform: per-user and global usage limits, real-time cost tracking, and feature flags for rapid cost management. All expenses are tracked transparently on our Open Collective page.
Our Fiscal Host
UnaMentis is fiscally hosted by Open Collective Europe, a Belgian nonprofit that provides transparent financial management for open source projects. All donations are handled transparently.
